Dr. Mitsukimi Tsunoda

Dr Tsunoda is BSc in Chemistry from Universidade de São Paulo - São Paulo (1974) and the Docteur d'Etat es Sciences Physiques from Universite Nice Sophia Antipolis (1981). Post-doctoral fellow at the Universität Regensburg in 1987 and at the Université Paris XI (Orsay)  in 1990. He held fellowships from the FAPESP, CNPq, the French Government (MAE), CNRS, DAAD and Gakushin (JSPS). In 1989 was a visiting professor at the Université Paris XI (Orsay France). From 1994 to 1997 he was visiting Research Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin. Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro  from 1985 to 1992 when moved to the Universidade Federal de São Carlos  where is now Associate Professor of Chemistry. He is a Visiting Scholar at Texas A&M University in College Station. Has experience in synthetic inorganic chemistry, focusing on molecular and organometallic compounds of transition metals and representative elements, crystal chemistry, weak interactions as synthetic tool, and application of basic chemistry in industry and technology (chemistry graduate program, technology option).
